pruitt chevrolet player
glad to hear that the player that suffered the heart attack at the Eastern National Tourney is doing well. Our prayers are with him.Outstanding job by all involved to assist during this tragic event. We (Baystate Bombers) will be making a contribution to the defribulator fund in the immediate future.

I also hope the player comes through this fine. I am from the area, where he is from and know this guy.THANKFULLY they had a defliblerator.I was also at a tourney in Lanshing where a guy had a heart attack and they had NONE.I am a fireman and know how these can save lives.I believe US as players make some noise and make it a requirement, that ALL tournaments at ALL fields have these on hand. Again hope the player gets well soon.

lecak & I don't have the info available @ this time, but have suggested a fund be set up through SSUSA. There was a flyer @ the fields with the name of a player that passed away, and an address for contributions. I will try to get that info on this site asap

I trulty wish this player a speedy recovery...our Dayton Legends player, Bobby Koeller was the player who came to his rescue and assisted in helping save his life. Bobby told me last night at our Seniors game...he really felt like he was there in the right moment and right time. He was supposed to help this guy in his time of need...till the Ambulance crew arrived....Glad all will work out for this player.

Just a thot...maybe...since SSWC is a large organization they could MAYBE...hook up with a defibulater vendor and our Senior teams could purchase a unit at a reduced price..they are expensive...just a THOT for SSWC and Company to look into..or maybe someone on this site has a connection to a company that would be interested in selling to Senior Softball.....God Bless Us ..ALL..!!!

If someone from SSUSA wants to contact me, I can give you our best price for an AED... I sell a few and feel that every tourn. should have an AED on hand. It seems that more and more players are falling to this dreaful disease....
