Winter Worlds-Doc Romero Complex
Does anyone know where this park is located? Is it in Las Vegas or Henderson, NV?

DOC ROMEO, is in Las Vegas. It is on W. Cheyenne. Take 93-95 north. If, one is going West & passes Buffalo, one has gone about 1/4 of a mile to far. Cheyenne is 1 mile north of LAKE Mead. This ball park is on the South side of Cheyenne. Just passed the Fire Station, which is on the left. When u see the Sonic Drive-In, be ready to take a left (south). There r several baseball fields & softball fields together. The fields r built in a Storm Drainage area. Just next to the ball fields is one of the City of Las Vegas car-truck pools.

The tv stations in Vegas were announcing last evening that U.S. 93/95 will be closed at the Rainbow Curve starting Friday night at 10:00 until Sunday night at approx. 10:00. This is a bummer as this closes the most direct route to Doc Romeo Park from downtown/strip/anywhere south. Best alternative I know of would be to take Rancho Street north to Cheyenne and then left (west) over 93/95 and then look to your left and you will see all the light towers. Hope this helps.
