Nov. 22, 2004 TaterinGa Men's 50 179 posts | SPA New Rule for Major Plus Teams I did not think SPA was going to do this but here goes; their new rule for 2005. "New Rule Change: Major Plus Division Only; A Major Plus team will be allowed 1 Player on their roster from outside of their required area, i.e. a player from Mississippi could play with a team from North Carolina." Curious as to the interruptation of this rule. |

Nov. 24, 2004 jah#4 Men's 70 576 posts | Donnie I agree a player in Major+ should be able to play with a team. A player may not fit in with the makeup with a local team or might not have a playing spot on the field. The Major + division is getting smaller each year. I don't think one player from outside their area will hurt softball only give another player a place to play. |
