| Oct. 30, 2008 Brett Men's 55 242 posts | jak'd Nemesys vs. Miken Ultra II Just curious for opinions as to the performance difference between these two bats. I know one person that swears the jak'd Nemesys is hotter. |
| Oct. 30, 2008 Dirty Men's 50 1375 posts | He is incorrect. And the other thing about the Ultra is the sweet spot that seems to be 24" long. Damn near impossible to mishit with that bat. |
| Oct. 30, 2008 Brett Men's 55 242 posts | Dirty, have you tried one? http://jakd.ca/nemesys-softball-bat.htm |
| Oct. 30, 2008 Dirty Men's 50 1375 posts | Yes, though admittedly just a handful of swings. |
| Oct. 30, 2008 Brett Men's 55 242 posts | I was told the 2007 model is considerably hotter than the 2008 model. |

| Oct. 30, 2008 Dirty Men's 50 1375 posts | I have no idea which one I swung. To me only vehicles come in model years. :) |
| Oct. 30, 2008 Enviro-Vac Men's 60 360 posts | When we play in NSA Canada association ball we use the Jak'd a lot. It's probably the most popular bat for NSA Canada and on those standards is a great bat but an Ultra II it is not. The U2 is also less expensive. A couple of our guys sometimes swing it in SSUSA play but only because they are comfortable with it. I would use any senior bat over the Jak'd. |
| Oct. 30, 2008 Enviro-Vac Men's 60 360 posts | p.s. We have not tried the 2008 Jak'd, only the 2007 |
| Oct. 30, 2008 Brett Men's 55 242 posts | Thanks for the feedback. |

| Oct. 31, 2008 Enviro-Vac Men's 60 360 posts | They sell in Canada for about $300. (that's almost free in US $ these days ~:) and come with a 30-day warranty. You can often get them for a little less if you shop around. |
| Oct. 31, 2008 AZBaller 44 posts | Is that a typo or is it for real, a 30 day warranty. This bat must not to durable with only a 30 day warranty |
| Oct. 31, 2008 mad dog Men's 60 3803 posts | yeah that's $3.99 in american.:):):) |
| Oct. 31, 2008 DesertDave Men's 60 74 posts | Just checked their "WARRANTY" on their website. breakage not covered once you USE the bat. |
| Oct. 31, 2008 4x4 Men's 65 567 posts | Someone mentioned to me during the course of this year that this was the same bat as another we know but renamed/repackaged - but I do not remember what they mentioned. The Rebok bat of the Cannon???????? It was also talked about on SBF somewhere. |
| Oct. 31, 2008 4x4 Men's 65 567 posts | That should be - or the Cannon......... |
