Macenko Combat vs. gray combat
Now that the Macenko Comat has been out long enough to get broken in, how does it stack up against the original gray Combat? Thanks

hombre: I have had the MM bat for about 2 months, and IMO , it's the BEST BAT ON THE MARKET !I wouldn't even try and compare it to the grey model, it's that good !!!

So ther is a break in period for this new Combat. How is it better? The feel of the bat, the balls comes off different. Hit with more power. Larger sweet spot.. Would like to know.

cutty, My MM was good out of the wrapper and is getting better and better. Not everyone I talk to who has said the same thing. Some say they needed a break in and now its HOT.I have the 27 oz. balanced 13 in.It feels great to swing. Even in the warm up area you can't wait to get in the batters box.I am basicly a base hitter , pretty much up the middle , but have burned the right center fielder bad in the last 2 games (3 times)2 different fielders.I believe the sweet spot is larger and as for my bat , it JUMS OFF OF IT. Good luck !

IMO there is no comparing the two bats. I love my gray combat and it hotter than S--T. I love the MM combat it just keeps getting better. I'm a line drive base hitter also. I've been hitting the fence for years, but with the MM it jumps to the outfield and through the infield. I've hit a few out with the grey, Non with the MM thus far, but I can see them coming. Right now the fence is fine with me. Love legging out a double or triple.

Make sure after you do you thank Combat's R & D department.

I used a buddies 28oz EL MM combat last week while playing indoor. This bat is sick. After I swung once and hit the rafters, I actually put it back down for fear I might hurt someone. I really think it might hit better than the Ultra II.

Santo, doesn't that depend on what part of the rafters you hit? Over the infield is not such a good thing. :)

Is your MM Combat end loaded or balanced and what is the weight? Plan to buy one so just trying to make the best decision as to which type of MM. Thanks!

Didn’t need R&D before don't need it now. Stay off my post. I don't need a wantabee telling me about my game. Maybe I will show up at SS one day when I go to Cleveland to visit my family. Then you can comment to me face to face. Until then stay off my post.

You were the one praising what the bat did for you.

And should I be afraid of your face?
