Ultra II
Are all the Ultra II bats the same? I use a couple that were handed down to our senior team because they were considered ilegal in their league. I was told they were better then the Ultra II bats being made now. Are they just blowing smoke? If not should I consider getting more of the bats, for there were quite a few in closets that were banned?

If they have the ASA emblem on them, they're definitely better than the ones without it. No question about it.
If they don't have the sticker, trade them for a Combat.

It has a stamp like figure on them with some type of association wording next to another 1.20 marking. With our lava type of dirt, it wears out the markings pretty quick. Can you tell me what makes them special, for all of the new UltraII bats have the same1.20 as mine does. Actually two different markings next to each other. If I recall, it was about five years ago that they were banned, and there were about twenty teams that were using the Ultra II, and they all were put away. Most of them didn't have time to be broke in when they were banned. The bats that were given to me cost $320.00 at the time, and were like new. Would I be getting a better bat if I found more of them like mine?

The original Ultra II Bats are better than the Ultra's made

today. The original's last longer and have more "Pop",

at least this is what I have always heard. The original's

will have an ASA Stamp on them. I'd say get them out

of the closet and use them, you won't find a hotter Bat

anywhere! If you would happen to have a 26 Oz. that you

would want to sell, i'd be a buyer!
