WINTER NATIONALS
Does anyone know if they update the brackets during this weekends Winter Nationals? I've pulled up the website and they show the brackets for Friday and the weekend finals but just wondered if they updated results.

Damon's won the 50+ Major Plus Division

They beat us 23-22 & 54-14

Any chance that Damon's could be moved to a

Higher Class? They are as good as it gets!

We had them 22-10 in the first contest Then they

woke up in the bottom of the 4th. The first guy made

an out and after that the Hit parade started! 13 runs

later we were walking off the field.

Nice Tournament though.

Raptors won the 60 M+
Kittrell's won the 55 M
LL, before the tournament I had my doubts about playing 60 ball. Not now, I can't believe the quality of players in the 60's. I really enjoyed playing with the Raptors!
As for the tournament, lots of wind. 3 of our 5 games were into the wind. Sunday turned cool with temps in the 60's. We got a kick out of seeing guys bundled up like it was 10 degrees.
Props to Steve and Dwayne on a well run tournament.
If I did have to gripe about something it was leaving at 4:00pm for Georgia. I wish we could have finished it earlier.

Bruce, Congratulations on the win! I'm sure you will enjoy playing with the Raptors. In hindsight, I wish we (Boaz/ASI) had come to Florida instead of Vegas this weekend. When we checked the teams who said they were going a month + ago, the Raptors were the only 60 Major + team. With all the reclassifications after Phoenix, you guys wound up with 6 teams! We figured (wrongly) that at least the West Coast teams and maybe Ruth would be in Vegas. Now, it's just us and MTC. We get to play a couple of seeding games against some Major teams and spot the 5 runs OR 11 defensive players as if these guys can't play. I know that is not the case. Looking forward to seeing you guys in 2009. How about keeping me in the loop in y'alls plans for Nationals next year so we can try to maximize the number of teams at each one? Best Regards, LL

LL, too bad Vegas turned out that way. As for our schedule, it's not definate yet. I did hear Vegas as a probable. I let you know when I do.
