| Dec. 8, 2008 firebird380hp Men's 60 85 posts | 2 guys looking to join a team. I'm 51 and live close to Savannah and I have a buddy that is 50 both of us would like to find a team. I can play the outfield or pitch and have a decent bat, And my firend is an infielder and also can hit very well.We both would be willing to come and try out hot bp whatever it takes to join.I have played one yr. senior ball and enjoyed it. | Dec. 8, 2008 southpaw Men's 70 1077 posts | To teams in the South, I just wanted to put in a good word for Robert (Firebird). Robert is an excellent, all-round player. Good hitter--long ball and base hitter. Plays very good defense as well. Fields the middle as well as anyone while pitching. Robert played his first year of Senior Softball this past year for me. He is dependable; his word means something--a very solid citizen. My team has disbanded due to lack of sponsorship (unless I can win Publisher's Clearing House!). I am not acquainted with Robert's friend, but if he vouches for him, then that would be good enough for me. Good additions to your team, I would say. Scrap Iron Steve (Southpaw) |
