Existing 50 major plus teams any schedules you might share
Our team L.A.F. (used to be sofa kings still can't say it) will be playing 50 major plus this year (with the new rules made no sense to petition down) Our schedule for this year is Menifee in Jan, Phoenix Gold gloves in Feb, Spring worlds in Mesquite, Mar LVSSA April, Reno, May, Midwest Championships Chicago July (this is tentative depending on attendance), Western national Aug, LVSSA Sept and Phoenix Oct. Right now no SPA. We're also looking for something in June. We are completely self sponsored right down to the uniforms so we are looking for tournaments where we feel attendance will make for good competition.

Anybody else care to post in the 50 M+.

Will MAC II have a team this year just curious, I hope so.

Frederick Chevrolet/E&E Metal Fab We are also a new
50+ Major Plus team. We have not decided yet on a
Tournament Schedule for 2009 other then the Phoenix Tournament in October. We are planning on attending
Phoenix at this point. We are an East Coast team so we
won't get out your way other than Phoenix.

We will be playing at the TOC next month in the Major Division.

We do receive some Sponsor $$ but most of the time
we pay for everything.

Hope you have a great season in 2009.

2awesome any chance you might look at the Midwest Championships in July in Chicago? The reason we probably won't do SPA is that Dalton for us is not that easy to navigate. Never say never but if the Chicago tourney gets Gekle, Windy City, Coors Light and a few others we most likely will do that tourney. I know some of the Sweet guys and I'm going to see if Chicago has any appeal to them also.

Joining the self sponsored group, we also pay most of our own way. We are Major-plus now and will play in the West, if enough teams come. Reno, Salt Lake, Vegas and Phoenix.

Jawood will you be going to both LVSSA events? Any thought to Mesquite NV. It's about 70 miles north of Las Vegas a very small Gambling town and have been told that the room rates will be quite attractive. Since both Mesquite and LVSSA are very close maybe one not the other for you.

Not familiar with the Mesquite event, Lecak. When you say close, do you mean a few weeks apart? I thought they were going to put the Vegas tournament back at the end of September again.

Mesquite scheduled late March is replacing Palm Springs as the location for the Spring worlds. LVSSA runs a spring event which I think will be the latter part of April along with their late September event.

I personally like Mesquite it is a two exit town about 4 or 5 casinos and probably 10-15 thousand population. Call headquarters in Sacramento because I know they built some new fields I haven't seen them, I would be speaking out of turn on numbers of fields etc. Everything is literally 5 to 10 minutes apart. St George Utah is about 20-30 minute drive from there also.

Lecak I would say that the Midwest Championships would be a possible venue for us to attend, especially if there is a Good turn-out. Keep me updated, if possible. I will present it to our team. Thank you!
