Jan. 20, 2009 rawlings10 Men's 50 2 posts | 40+ Teams I am wondering are there any 40+ teams who plan on playing Senior Softball Tournaments on the East Coast this year.We have a team in Baltimore -The High Street Bucs- but we were unable to find another team to play against in 3 tourneys last year. |
Jan. 20, 2009 Lecak Men's 60 1026 posts | Rawlings10 how about the teams that came to Phoenix out of New Jersey, maybe the Sacramento office could help you get in touch with those teams, also maybe some of the 50 major plus teams on the east coast wouldn't mind playing in the 40 division to get some work in. My team here on the west coast always keeps this as an option. I could see us asking to play in the 40's at Mesquite in NV if the 50 turnout isn't that good. I know there is a team out of New York called Giant Steel, check the ASA list of teams who attended last year in Dallas I think there were several east coast teams also. You might also check the USSSA 40 tournament results from last year and see who attended those from the east. |

In order to get more 40+ tourneys sometimes you really have to impress upon these director's that there is a market for them in your region.
