Any 60 Major's going to Mesquite
We are Monkey Joe's 60 Major from New Jersey. We went to the Spring Worlds in Palm Springs last year. We're trying to decide whether to go to Mesquite, Nevada for the Spring Worlds this year. The number of teams going will be a factor. Would appreciate any 60 Major teams planning on going responding to this message. Thanks.

Our team has been talking about going to Mesquite. It sounds like a great early tournament. It will be nice to see how we will fare in Majors after being moved up. We seem to be having a problem locating affordable rooms. Does anyone have any leads, or special discounts to share?

DesertDave did you go to the tournaments tab up top and click on the Spring world link. Oasis, Virgin River and Casablanca casinos those are pretty good prices. Mesquite is a two exit town so everything is handy. If their sold out might have to go to St George UT. That is about 30 minutes or so north.

Thanks,
Thats not too bad. Well, maybe $130 a night for the Cassablanca in a "Two Exit Town might" be a "little high" :)

Desert Dave,
Like Lecak says..Click on Tournaments Then click on Spring Worlds. Call the number listed for hotels which is 877-438-2929.
I made our reservations (Monkey Joe's) at the Virgin River Casino..$34.99+tax per night for Thursday night and Sunday night and $44.99+tax for Friday night and Saturday night. You can't beat that!!! Dave, what team do you play with?

That's reasonable. Our team is getting together in 2 weeks at the Gold Glove Qualifier in Phoenix. We will be seeing if we have enough guys to travel. No big sponsor $. Got to pick and choose. I Play with Robson Ranch. We were AAA last year. Thanks for all the help.

Desert Dave,
By the way those rares are for doubles with two Queen beds, so it's only $17.50+tax Thursday and $22.50+tax Friday and Saturday per man.
