Feb. 25, 2009 OTE24 Men's 55 120 posts	Rock n' Reno Hotels/motels The 55s look like they're going to Carson City. Any suggestions for hotel/ motels in CC?
Feb. 25, 2009 Dbax Men's 60 1149 posts	There are some there, but who wants to stay there? We stay in Reno and make the drive. It's 45 minutes. Much more fun in Reno.

Feb. 25, 2009 Dbax Men's 60 1149 posts	When this came up for us a couple of years ago, nobody wanted to stay in Carson City. The drive was not that bad.
Feb. 25, 2009 taits Men's 65 4001 posts	A few casinos are available as well as other hotel\motels on either side of the cost spectrum. Most all are only about 5 mi or so from park.
Feb. 26, 2009 DesertDave Men's 60 74 posts	If the 45 minute drive is not a problem, you might consider staying at the California/Nevada state-line at South Lake Tahoe. It is about the same distance to Carson City, has casinos, and is probably one of the most beautiful places in the world.
