Dirty sorry if i affended you but the game has change a lot where you might be on the field one day and get really hurt bad over what a softball game it is really getting out of hand with all the bat changes that are permitted.

No offense taken. I have a much thicker skin than many on here.

Yes, it has changed a lot and very unnecessarily at the senior level. But personally I just don't feel unsafe out there. If I did I would not still do it, and if I ever do I will probably find a new hobby. But just not yet.

what about get rid of the home plate mat used in senior ball and get a strike zone back? sometimes when I pitch I find myself watching to see if the ball hits the mat and not preparing myself for defense. I have never liked having to hit the mat for a strike. after playing ball for years and using a zone, this was a surprise to me. my thoughts.
