| Jan. 20, 2005 Fred 45 posts | Bought a supposedly NIW Freak online Is there a surefire way to tell if this is actually new? I have my suspicions. I purchased it online for $260 from a local player that has been offering bats on the state USSSA website. It looks heavy on the clearcoat. It also has a few ripples on the handle. The knob doesn't look quite right and there is a rough edge at the endcap. Has anyone run into this? Any comments are appreciated. |

If you haven't delt with someone before, you might try asking for references from other guys on the board or read the feedback form ebay sales. If he soesn't have any, red flag to me, or ask hin to send first, in which be sure to get emails as to what your doing and the complete deal laid out. |
