Taking Chances
I know that many of the senior softball family are veterans like myself or have family member presently serving in the military.
If you haven't seen the movie: Taking Chance. You should take the time to do so.
The movie would appear to be about an officer that escorts the body of a solider back home to his family in Wyoming. I saw this movie to demonstrate the impact one individual has over the live of others. The impact this loss has on every individual encountered along the way. It pulled on my heart.

I want all that serve at this present time and their families to know how important they are to rest of the nation.

God Bless all loss in battle and of those serving in the military today and in the future.
Salute!!!!!!!

You can view it any time on HBO.

hitt2, I haven't seen the movie yet but I want to add to your post that this movie is TRUE. No Hollywood bull#&%^ !!! None needed.
We all know you can't believe in much of anything anymore (Wall St, Media,Gov,etc). But there is, and always has been one thing we can all be proud of- the American Soldier. I'm not naieve enough to think everyone who ever wore the uniform did so honorably. But the vast majority of our soldiers should be proud of the service to our nation. If only we could even come close to saying the same for our elected "leaders!?!"

Great movie, and shows what's right about the US. Hollywood didn't pick
a side, just told a story. Thanks
to all the young men who volunteer
and serve. Thanks hitt2.

Hitt2, Saw this movie a week ago. It's impossible to watch this movie without feeling deep emotion. Kevin Bacon did a great job. No matter how you view the war this film is a must see. We owe our military throughout the ages a debt of gratitude.
