April 10, 2009 Jose #12 Men's 60 89 posts | Break-in time for the Miken Maxload I just purchased the new Maxload and would like to get some ideas from the members of what is their experience of what the break-in time frame will be. Approximately how many swings are needed before it is game ready? |

April 10, 2009 Jose #12 Men's 60 89 posts | Thanks Lecak, I wasn't sure if it was good out of the wrapper or needed to be broken in. Ken, maybe I'll bring it Tuesday and get a few guys to use it during batting practice. |

In fact, last night we were hitting one that was still IN the wrapper, we hit with 60 cor. 150 comp rubber balls, ( these balls don't damage the bats), and we were hitting them out with the Miken Ultra II maxload. These balls are 100 feet less than a .40 cor. 375 comp ball. And I definitely wouldn't be letting anyone else swing your bat. Keep it for when it matters!! |
