| April 28, 2009 boston 278 posts | Lost of a Teammate The Las Cruces/El Paso Senior softball community lost a dear friend and player last week. Bill Moore lost hgis battle with cancer on Thursday April 23rd. Bill played during his senior career for the Las Cruces Viejos, Las Cruces Vets, El Paso Drillers 55 and the NM Dukes 55 from Albuquergue. I played beside Bill in leftfield for 3 years with the LC Vets. I will miss his sense of humor and deep voice barking commands like Gen. Patton. He was a great teammate and man. The Las Cruces/El Paso softball community will miss him dearly. |

All of the Las Cruces, and El Paso teams are a credit to the senior softball community. Although I don't remember Bill specifically, please accept my condolences on his passing. |
