One Bat !!!??
Am I being to optimistic in asking if there is just ONE bat, with pop, that complies with SSUSA, ISA, ISSF, NSA, ASA, SPA ??!! And if I am dreaming, I may as well ask for an end load effect. This will be my 7th. year in senior ball and I am tired of pulling my back muslces lugging over a $1000.00 of bats in my bag. Thanks for any of your expertise. Larry.

Not knowing all the banned bats for each assoc mentioned but in order knowing some others are banned would be in My opinion a
Freak or plus
properly broke in synergy 2 or plus

The Syn 2 I believe is good in all of them. Hard to break in, but when done, it smokes balls.

The best bat for all associations including ASA, which has the largest banned bat list, has to be the Miken Freak.
The Miken Freak +, Synergy2 and Synergy + are not ASA legal.

Fred, a check of the ASA site shows the Synergy 2 (SCX22) as an approved bat on 10/21/2003. From what I've seen of this bat, it's a pretty damn hot. I just wish I could afford one, boo-hoo, poor me huh?? :-))

Fred, you are close to being 100% right. The Freak isn't approved for NSA.

Thanks Bruce. Forgot about NSA. Mitch, if you check the current information on the ASA website, dated 2/20/05, it lists the Easton Synergy SCX2 as a banned bat.

Fred the SCX2 you are referring to is the brown one. The Synergy 2 SCX22 is the red one and it is legal in ASA.

Thanks guys. Am I reading you correctly by saying the Synergy II SCX22 is the bat to use for all of these organizations ?? Do they have any type of end load effect?? How does it compare to the U2? Again, thanks for your comments.........Larry.

Juice you are right it is a great bat but it is not legal in the NSA. Miken did not sign the NSA contract.

Walk...you are absolutely right...but if someone want just one bat for seniors...my vote is the freak plus...by the way did you ever find a major team in your area? What is the closest major team to KC...Chicago Classics?

Juice,
I will be playing for the KC Masters team they are a AAA team. We will be playing AAA this year. I don't think the Classics need anyone. But thanks for asking.

The Freak Plus is a great bat and so is the Combat B1 I would place them together with durability going to the Freak Plus and a little more pop going to the Combat. I have both and love both of them.

PS they are endloaded.

You are right "softballer". Let me tell you the story. My team was playing softballer's team in the playoffs. Since I was playing catcher, I got to see what bat everyone was using. Guess what? At least 9 of their 11 batters used softballer's Synergy 2 bat and each one of them pounded the ball over our outfielders head for extra bases. Our shortstop even committed that these guys don't normally hit like that but since they were using the Syn 2, they hit great.
Playing catcher gave me the perfect position to watch each hit and hear and see how hard it was hit. I can honestly say, that I firmly believe that this "bat" beat our team. Everyone of their guys hit it hard and solid and I give them credit for that.
This is a great bat and as I said before, I just wish I could afford one, boo-hoo, poor me :-)))

I have a synerge 2 and this a great bat after you break it end. It sounds great when you pound that ball. Great pop and distance.
