| June 2, 2009 TGIII Men's 55 81 posts | Paul and the Doubleplay team Please extend the thoughts and prayers from the players and families on the Top Gun III team to Steve and his family. Through the years we have had fellow players and friends battle cancer and collectively we continue to keep them in our thoughts. We lost a courageous player/friend earlier this season and know how the senior softball family reaches out and embraces the individual and family members in a time of need. Please keep us updated on Steve's health. Kevin |

| June 3, 2009 the wood 1020 posts | Paul, I've played against Steve (aka Pinky) for the better part of 30 years. I remember him as early as his Numero Uno days when he was a hated pitcher (read = feared, respected and misunderstood). I really didn't get to know him until we played together on the FAT COLA 40 team in '98-'99. I found him to be a solid player and a good teammate. I've seen him sparingly over the past couple of years as our paths haven't crossed much. But he is definitely in my daily prayers. Thanks, Paul, for letting us know. BW |
| June 3, 2009 canIjack Men's 60 316 posts | Paul, like the wood, I also met Pinky when I played in Carson at Dolphin Park with Dennis and FAT COLA back in 2000 when I firt got started in 40 and over and I only knew as Pinky. Nice Guy, I am truly sadden by this news. Our Southern California Senior Softball Family has lost one of its fierce Competitors, Teammate and Friend. My Prayers are for Pinky and his Family Kennard |
