I want to thank all of the participating teams. We had a great time with great weather. I also would like to express my concerns to Webb's pitcher. He received(what appeared to be) a severely broken finger. My thoughts and prayers are with him & his family/team.

Great tournament thanks to you Icelady!
Wish I had a few more players at the end. The injury bug bit us hard. Look forward to seeing you at the ball park. zeppelin33 Gary Houchen

ICELADY,
It was great talking to you about all the good times that we had with JIMMY CLARK. I felt so honored but also overcome with grief when I was asked to say the tribute to Jimmy and Rich Nicodemus that I didn't think that I could do it. I hope that everything that I said on the fields was OK because I don't remember a lot of what I said, but it was from the heart.
Both teams have suffered from the loss of a friend but nothing like the loss that their familys have suffered. As was said The Heavenly Team needed two really good players and they got more than they asked for.
To all Jim & Joe's thanks for letting me lead the service, you and everyone at the tournament were a class bunch of guys.
Rest in Peace JIMMY and NICK!!!!!!!!
God Bless all,
The Hitman #13

PS.
On the the lighter side a really well run tournament, Bure sure to say Hello to Karen.

hitman,Jim you sure pick the right name I don't think we got you out one time in our 2 games. You did a great job Sunday, your prayer was outstanding God just gave you the strength. I don't think there was a dry eye on the feild,I know mine wasn't
I did not know Nich personly but I am sure he was a heck of a nice guy. I guess we play against him ,
being that we have been buting heads for last 7 or 8 year's having some classic game's in World Tourney's,but after game were friends again that's what makes senior ball so great!
I know my batting average will problem suffer this year because Jimmy and I would hit together with his buddy Larry about once a week even last year when he played for another team.
ICELADY is a real Peach,we gave her a surprise 60th birthday party in April got her real good. As for her daughter Karen can you belive she's single
Jim take care, keep playing and hope to see you at another tourney, maybe at Gallatin,Tn for ISA World

JohnBob,
Now that's odd, my southern name is Billy Jim Bob.
Jimmy would even call me and try to take batting practice if he was coming south and we did hit many times.
Was there ever a bat Jimmy couldn't hit with?
We have Gallatin on our schedule and hope to see you there.
By any chance are you going to Cullman for the NSA?
We plan on being in Cullman also and will be playng 60 AAA.
Again John, God Bless you, your team and familys.
