Warning
I recently bought a Synergy Extended 26 oz bat from Jason Holbrook selling under the ebay name of Henry12_34[78*} I am currently in a Resolution process with Paypal I buy a lot of bats on ebay I have only been scamed twice
He said the bat was in perfect condition when I received it and if I hadnt swung it he would have issued a refund I took 2 swings with and it stung my hands I found a crack in the barrel
> I dont know anybody who doesnt swing a bat to try it out when they receive it. If you are buying a bat off Ebay watch this seller.

On a different note has anyone swung a bat called the Veteran, it is Red in color and may have the stars and stripes on it. They are supposed to be the next hot bat.

Captain Marauder,
I deal with alot of bat companies, none of the ones I talked to know anything about a Veteran softball bat, not that it wouldn't be a good ideal.

Let me preface this comment by stating that i am not taking a guilty or innocent position in any way regarding your bat purchase. I am a SELLER on eBay and have been myself scammed by several BUYERS. I would NEVER intentionally mislead or misrepresent an item. Several buyers have received an accurately described bat only to hit it....not like it....then state there was something wrong with it OR they found the same bat at a cheaper price. They know the cost to reship and or return an item so i have typically refunded part or all of their costs simply as a goodwill gesture. One should ALWAYS inspect closely any bat LONG BEFORE you start hitting with it. There are two sides to every purchase. Hope pay pal works with you if the bat was in fact misrepresented.

I started back in the Compu$erve-Prodigy days with some AOL thrown in dealing trades with PC games.
Got burned twice in 4 years, not bad overall w\about 1K deals.
Then ebay came along I started softball stuff and only;y had one raw deal the guy sent me a different inferior bat, could get no resolution, and on another deal mistake was made with weight, but we both sent back and exchanged for another to make it right.
About 280 deals there all positive for me w\no neg or neutrals posts. Not bad, overall. But I read almost every feedback for those I dealt with if ANY were Neg\ Neutral within same item or low feedback count.
I quit ebay when my acct got hacked 3 yrs ago, but to start another at zero feedback would be a pain in the butt.
Side remark, watch out for some that show an inventory count of same products on one listing but a far different listing on another posting. I say that because I had on gut in Pa listing many like that that I got caught scamming folk and was able to get the info needed from victims to have him prosecuted. He served 3 years.

I dont expect much from Ebay or Paypal, The only thing I got going for me is I also have 100% feedback as I pay for my bats usually within minutes of winning them.
