Nov. 11, 2009 JLD930 Men's 55 67 posts | Colorado Senior Softball Team looking for 60+ Major Players The Master Collision / Scrap Iron 55 major team is moving up to the 60’s in 2010. We are looking for a pitcher and outfielders who would be interested in playing at that level. The adjoining states rule allows us to have a roster that includes players from Arizona, Utah, Wyoming, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma and New Mexico in addition to Colorado. We plan to play 7-9 out of state tournaments. This is not a sponsored team that pays for player’s travel expenses. Anyone who is interested in joining this team and is willing to commit to most tournaments should send an email to Bert Hertzke at berthertzke@yahoo.com. We look forward to hearing from you |

Nov. 11, 2009 JLD930 Men's 55 67 posts | Hello Bruce, Initially we are playing Major not Major+. Our 55 team was bumped to M+ at one point but was dropped back down. Depends who we add to our roster as to where we end up. About half of our players are staying at the 55 major level so we have to make a number of roster additions. We typically stay in the West, playing 7-10 travel tourneys per year although we have made the winter worlds in Ft Myers several times. Jack |
