Nov. 24, 2009 einstein Men's 50 3112 posts | 1st Amendment We have the right to speak on this forum as long as we don't disparage. - Inappropriate language - Disparaging comments directed toward any individual - Promotion for other senior softball organizations - Advertising for commercial products, services or websites The website is to discuss matters that are from and of the community and that serve the community. This forum is a place where problems occur and resolutions should appear. Leave us to talk about matters of concern to us senior players of the senior softball community. Dave? You said Terry is big on the 1st Amendment and doesn't like censorship as long as we stay within the guidelines. How can we resolve a problem that came up on the website as part of it's dynamic without having the website to work it out. This is a community issue and let us have the opportunity to work it out. |
Nov. 24, 2009 Dirty Men's 50 1371 posts | A misguided attempt to invoke the First Amendment. SSUSA owns this site, they can allow and disallow anything they so choose. Your children had First Amendment rights too. How many times did you let them drop the F bomb in your home when they were little? |
Nov. 24, 2009 einstein Men's 50 3112 posts | Kevin. The issue between us is of and from the senior softball community. You disparaged me as I did you. Let's settle it like men and concerned members of our community. It's really up to you. |
Nov. 24, 2009 Dirty Men's 50 1371 posts | Like men?????? Funny, gump. What are you going to do, cuss him out via email? VERY manly. LMFAO Hey, at least for the moment you dropped our stupid use of the First Amendment. |
Nov. 24, 2009 einstein Men's 50 3112 posts | You know if Dirty Gary's on you you've gotta be on the right track. Thanks, Gary. Keep up the good work. This is our issue, a community issue irrespective of any other concerns and it must be and should be dealt with by us all of us, together. We've all been assaulted by any of the attacks made on any of us by any one of us (myself included) and we can and need to handle our issues, ourselves. Even Dirty Gary is defined as himself which shows a manly accountability and in his way, is of us and is dealt with by us. |
Nov. 24, 2009 Dirty Men's 50 1371 posts | "on you" how? By pointing out your far less than manly way of taking things off the board? Or by pointing out your horrendous attempt to apply the First Amendment? Though I do agree with you regarding handling issues. Your methods are a bit out there, but the concept is correct. Way to go, gump! |
Nov. 24, 2009 einstein Men's 50 3112 posts | Gary, your hysterical. And keep up the good work. Many of us on the website have experienced and been assaulted by things you've said, Kevin has said and I have said. These are our matters and are best handled by us for all the best and right reasons. I don't want to get involved with law suits with/from you, Kevin or anyone else. A waste of time at best and can do a ton of damage to senior softball and our community. So, let's keep our business even your "messy" business, Gary here and figure out how best to move down the road, better together. We have lots of legitimate issues before us that still need our attention and resolve before next year begins. |
Nov. 24, 2009 Dirty Men's 50 1371 posts | gump (as you are proving again), when did I EVER mention a lawsuit? Please don't make up anymore than you must deem absolutely necessary. |
Nov. 24, 2009 einstein Men's 50 3112 posts | Thanks, Gary. You're priceless. |
Nov. 24, 2009 wagon487 Men's 55 578 posts | Dirty, please say something nice for once. not everything is a fight. no matter what the issue, you have to disagree. i'll bet that can be tiresome in life. take a deep breath, and repeat, it's okay, it's okay, it's okay. if the local kids hit a ball in your yard, do you give it back? it's okay, it's okay, it's okay. one e hug coming up! |
Nov. 24, 2009 hitt2 353 posts | Wagon 487/ Einstein When we ignore the non tournament player he disappears. Just DON'T RESPOND it isn't worth it. Einstein you know I don't always agree with you on your topics. Keep posting I know the ball player you are as witnessed by many of us in Nor Cal. Paco He look Like Einstein it not hard to find him on the field and at tourneys. Everyone has the right to say what on your mind but DON'T DON'T get hooked by Dirty's game. Hitts2 |
Nov. 24, 2009 Dirty Men's 50 1371 posts | gump, you say you want to engage in dialogue with people yet you never answer simple and direct questions. wagon, your post is very shortsighted and narrow minded. My only fight is with who a LOT of people on here have issues with. The one-trick pony himself, gump. hitt, he might be a good ballplayer but I know the "man" as witnesses by numerous vile, vulgar, and filthy emails. What exactly is my "game"? To call out gump's stupidity? By the way, where does it say this is a 3-team bracket, buy your own rings, tournament only player senior board? |
Nov. 24, 2009 stick8 1991 posts | Remember, you have the right to speak but you don't have the right to be heard |
Nov. 24, 2009 #19 Men's 70 302 posts | It takes a worried man to sing a worried song... It's amusing how bullies act when confronted. |
Nov. 24, 2009 einstein Men's 50 3112 posts | You're clueless, Bob but it's not stopped you, before. A lot of damage will come for both sides as well as for the community if this proceeds any further as any smart and caring person would know. Caring about people, Bob, is not the sign of a bully. Not caring, is. And we'll all see who steps up to the plate and who doesn't. |
Nov. 24, 2009 einstein Men's 50 3112 posts | And Gary, you're just priceless for providing attention to someone, anyone who's doing something positive. Thanks, and keep up the good work. |
Nov. 24, 2009 Stretch14 Men's 50 202 posts | If you have a problem with somebody on this board, get the phone number or the email of that person and deal with him or her that way. Quit taking up space on this board. We all know we need good balls and bats. |
Nov. 24, 2009 einstein Men's 50 3112 posts | It's a community issue Stretch because someone who dares to stand up for seniors, challenging Associations, and corporate interests who are in conflict about serving us and their needs simultaneously can be singled out and punished by those with big pockets and a lot to lose. It's also a 1st Amendment right to free speech issue which is every citizen's concern. |
Nov. 25, 2009 Dirty Men's 50 1371 posts | This has NOTHING to do with the First Amendment, you moron! |
Nov. 25, 2009 tattooball 774 posts | Your first amendment rights does not include lieing to harm people and businesses for your own agenda. You need to read your emails to me about how you lied to help rip-it and others, there are 3 from you that admit that. The recent nasty and threatining emails are even better. |
Nov. 25, 2009 #19 Men's 70 302 posts | You are little more than a bully, Rinaldi... You care about yourself and little else... And now you're running for the high grass... Ever heard of Karma??? |
Nov. 25, 2009 einstein Men's 50 3112 posts | Being as honest as I could be to you and showing my vulnerability was a gesture on my part to show you I meant you no real harm. I never worked for Rip-it, or any other bat company or competitor of yours. Not now or ever. I support products I think are good for me and my senior buddies. I say what I say fundamentally from my own experience as a senior softball player and member of the senior softball community. We got involved in a nasty set of exchanges that I initiated which I deeply regret but your defamation and threats to me are a matter of record, emails, too. And I will be protected by the 1st Amendment as much as you are. I've said you are a good man and a terrific business man doing your best to care for your company and family and provide the best products you can given many variables and problems in senior ball. I need a new bat and I'm gonna go with a yellow Macenko when I get around to buying one. You're ball, the micro-cell ball we used is Vegas was lively and more than acceptable to us and for us and I would endorse it across the board. We can disagree about the future of senior ball or what seniors want/need now to continue to invest and want to invest in the sport. That could/should be positive and helpful to all. Again, I'm sorry for hurting you personally above all and have no problem supporting you and your products now and forever as we all move forward together in senior ball. |
Nov. 25, 2009 BruceinGa Men's 70 3233 posts | That sounds like a sincere apology to me. I hope everyone involved can let it go, even those not involved. |
Nov. 25, 2009 tattooball 774 posts | Yes it does along with the many he has sent in the past only to repete his unlawful libelist post's shortly after. |
Nov. 25, 2009 BruceinGa Men's 70 3233 posts | I hope this will put an end to it. I'm sure almost everyone here has lost interest. |
