How is a team suppose to stay together to play in the TOC you just qualified for by winning Vegas , when it's not played until 2011 ?I can't figure this one out. HELP.......

This has bothered me also. Seems as though the TOC should be played first, then the Winter Nationals and Winter Worlds.

It is possible for a team to win as AAA then move up to Major but still play the TOC as AAA.

If we did not win the Northeast Championships, TNT would have qualified 55 AAA and 55 Major since they won Winter Nationals as AAA were moved to Major for remainder of the 2009 season.

Teams do change and it is hard to change before the TOC.

Mike, As I understand it...if you qualified in AAA.that is what you would play in the TOC........I agree, the Winter Nationals and the Winter World should be played after the TOC...JMO

Because Las Vegas and Ft Myers are played after the Worlds (2009), they are considered the first tournaments of the following year (2010). It would be obvious if they were played in January 2010, but the weather in Vegas won't allow it.

Then, since they are for the following year (2010), teams are permitted to pick-up players who are too young this year (2009), but will turn to the next age bracket the following year (2010).

It would be unfair if the winners of these tournaments were permitted to play in the TOC because they won with younger players.

Another point: many teams use Vegas/Ft Myers as tryouts for new players who might join the team in 2010.

Questions?

It's my understanding that they are under contract to these cities for the next few years for these dates. after that they will consider doing it different.
