Prayers
Community
Many of you in the softball community know my coach Ernie Lopez, of the California Blackhawks. Please lift him up with your prayers. Last Thursday/ Friday he suffered a heart attack and had quadruple bypass surgery. He is recovering well with his family at his side. Players and friends have visited him and are providing support to Camille, his wife. He's a class guy and loves the game. Please, keep him and his family in your thoughts and prayers.

I have been playing ball with and against Ernie for over 5 years now and have come to look forward to seeing him and Camille and his squad when I go to tourneys. I own a home in Modesto and I'd like to send all best wishes and sincere prayer for his complete recovery. Ernie has been passionate about Sr. Ball and we'll look forward to seeing him in the near future.

Ernie, you get well quickly!!! You and Camille are in Martha's and my prayer's. I will be expecting to see your smiling face and hear all the latest from your neck of the woods at the Spring Worlds. So get on it, focus on your recovery program. Give Camille, your family and your friends the GIFT of this Christmas Season, a Full HEALTHY Recovery. As we say on our team, GIT-R-DONE !!!

I would like to thank all of you for putting Ernie in their prayers. It has had a positive outcome. He's was released from the hospital this week and continues his recovery at home. He sounded good when I spoke with him yesterday. Prayer is powerful, Thank You All again.

Everytime I'm out on that ballfield with the rest of you ballplayers, I am thankful that all of us can be out there in the first place.

Life is so precious.

Get well, Mr. Ernie. We're all pulling for you.
