| Dec. 12, 2009 Lecak Men's 55 998 posts | Will hope SSUSA relax their stance for older Major Plus players For the younger players the CA FL border closure can probably be worked with. There maybe an age group where this is a real burden especially the major plus. I hope SSUSA takes this into consideration either through an exemption or allowing these players to play AAA if so desired. Walk around any mall or downtown area and then watch a 65 or 70 plus major plus player. These are special people that need to be celebrated by SSUSA not pushed aside because their ZIP CODE is wrong. Really bad decision please reconsider this ruling for at least the 65 and above. |
| Dec. 12, 2009 sjuhoops 123 posts | Thanks Joe. It would sure be nice to finish our remaining years playing major plus with and against guys we have gotten to know very well over the years. I would like to see at least the 60's and over be included. jmho Still in sunny and COLD NY. Be back tonight. See you soon. Hank C. |
| Dec. 12, 2009 taits Men's 65 3999 posts | Joe, Where do you draw the like with "exceptions" ? This almost always seems to be the rule within the rules. Perhaps a name change would be in order "Masters" Exceptions Senior Softball. MESS Senior Exceptions Assn Master Softball. SEAMS Ho Ho Ho Would be nice to allow CA\FL to add from the bordering states, & visa versa. I like the 9 regional area "idea", but perhaps in another form. |

| Dec. 12, 2009 Dirty Men's 50 1375 posts | Reduce the number of classes to two. That will allow for more players per class and age group from which to make teams with the current border rules. There just isn't enough participation in tournaments to warrant four classes. Then winning would really mean something. |
