bats by level
Maybe we should try using the senior bats for upper levels. Maybe AA could use ASA standard, AAA use USSSA standard, major and major+ senior bats, and adjust the balls accordingly. As the upper level guys are represented so well here, they could decide the balls for their division, and adjust the balls to the bats being used.Home run levels would stay where they are in lower divisions as they would not be as much a factor. Teams/ players would have a choice of division to play, and all else can stay the same. Mandatory move ups would be the same, with the better equipment helping to separate the better level of play. Any thoughts?

Ridiculous.
That's cold, I think you've been out in the SNOW too long...lol
It's as bad as the older you get the fewer HR's your allowed.
Lets not try to 'fix' another 'rule' with another bad idea when nothing was broke.

the prol is the better players are in the upper div's and shouldn't need the hotter bats.what about the avg joe who plays in the lower div,he won't be able to get a hit with those NON-LIVELY bats.

sad puppy, surely you jest. Guys used to get hits with wood, and current ASA bats are MUCH better than those.

Why in hell does a Major+ player NEED a hot bat? They are suppose to have the skills already. I always thought they had the tools to hit anything.
It is the lower Divisions who need the Hot bats, so they can improve their skills hitting the Lively Ball 400'.
Arent they entitled to big egos too?

E4/E6,that's what i was thinking and the reason i posted the way i did.as we all know it will be the avg joe who won't have fun playing if he is not allowed to hit the LIVELY BAT/BALL COMBO,and not the better players,as we have heard here.
but hey what do i know,i'm blind and schilling for someone and have my own agenda.

By far, the most on unfair and unbalanced Not forward thinking idea ever posted on this board... That all who play Sr. Softball... should be restrict to certain bats to a particular Division level... Com'n Mang!!!!!!!!!!

One of the big reasons to play senior ball is you don't have to pay $300 for an ASA bat you still have to pay $180 for a bat that may cost $40 to make. I'm more interested in bringing senior ball costs down JMHI
