| Jan. 25, 2010 Webbie25 Men's 60 1808 posts | Brian, looks like Wed. afternoon I will have some time to hit between baseball games at 10 and 6:30. I will be in touch. Darn rain today. |
| Feb. 1, 2010 Webbie25 Men's 60 1808 posts | Well, that was some fantasy camp for the Tigers, but I had no time to hit around 8 BASEBALL games. What a time-Mickey Lolich, Dave Rozema, Al Kaline, Mike Heath, Willie Hernandez, Steve Kemp, Frank Tanana, Juan Berenguer, John Hiller, Jon Warden. Ike Blessit, John Grubb, Rick Leach,Walt Terrell,Jim Price-It was a blast. Gonna be hard to go back to softball, maybe. |
| Feb. 2, 2010 E4/E6 Men's 60 847 posts | Webbie, did you have a chance to talk to Rick Leach? I think he is playing Senior Softball now. |
| Feb. 2, 2010 Webbie25 Men's 60 1808 posts | E4/E6, I spent a lot of time with Rick Leach. He knew I play and never said a word. He talked about his 3 kids-2 through UM and a third is there now, about quarterbacking the Wolverines, golf at Harbor Point, Pitching--everything but Sr. Softball. Absolutely a great guy. |
| Feb. 2, 2010 E4/E6 Men's 60 847 posts | Webbie, It wouldnt be the first time I was wrong, and am reasonably sure it wont be the last. =) Frank Tanana, a great Angel! Great story! Great experience?! |
| Feb. 3, 2010 Webbie25 Men's 60 1808 posts | Frank Tanana is an extremely religious guy and it is not a show.I was priveleged to talk to himfor quite a while, too. He is also one of the nicest guys you will ever meet. Rosie, Dave Rozema, was absolutely nuts!!! in a fun way-he will keep you in stitches for hours.Judge Jon Warden held the Kangaroo courts-what a hoot.I don't know how the other fantasy camps are, but if you get a chance to get to a good one like the Tigers--jump on it. |
