West wins TOC All Star Game Thriller
The West All-Stars came from behind in the bottom of the 9th inning this evening to win the thrilling 2010 TOC All-Star Game by a 31-30 final.

Ken ("Bogie") Van Bogaert (Roberts Construction) led off the bottom of the 9th with a towering home run to left that cleared the secondary fencing approximately 400' from home plate. Following an out and two base hits, SSUSA CEO Terry Hennessy (Wilson Trophy) delivered the game-winning RBI with a sharp single to left center field to end it in walk off style.

Over 60 players participated in the game, played under breezy and chilly conditions at the Auburndale Sports Complex.

Bogie, you animal.
Way to go.
Way to go West Coast guys.
That means we get home field
against any east team in any subsequent national event finals in 2010, right?
But I thought Bogie lives east of the Mississippi.

Maybe that bp we took Sunday enabled Bogie to hit that hr, ha ha!
Joe, maybe the west squad made Butch an offer he couldn't refuse to give up Bogie. ;)

Were there not any hr limits, or were they playing one up? Surely (don't call me shirley)they weren't using player friendly rules.

Maybe next time they will be more careful up 2 with a home run hitter at the plate. I would not want to pitch to a big time hr hitter in that situation.
My 2 cents

Donnie, The east was up 1 run in the bottom of the ninth. Would you walk the tying run to pitch to the winning run. I would not think so. Had a great time at the game. got real cold after the sun went down but it was fun. Thanks Harry NV FORCE.

Birdie,
I would walk the tying run if it were a big time home run hitter batting. It also depends who the batters are behind him.
I would not pitch to Eistein, Clatta, Dave Reed or any of these big hitters in this situation. Let the next guy beat you.
Good Luck ,
Donnie
