My take on the short note on page 7, bottom right hand side of page.
I just read through the paper & noticed this, and actually bothered to read it. I went back through old papers and its here too...I'm pissed, really pissed.
This "disclaimer" (my word, not mentioned within) is in all the news papers, but perhaps really defines SSUSA's stand.
My take on it: Nothing written is meaningful, holds water or is etched in "law" (their rules). Another words, smoke up ones butt.
If we, the readers and players, who play in and under your rules, cannot depend on what you wrote, write or say, what the heck is all this worth?
I take it as an insult to all of us as being used. To say one thing but then deny. Sounds like Obama.
Is SSUSA is not engaged in the profession of promoting softball, accounting for team stats in tournaments, resulting in rankings et al, or more, then cannot rely upon any of what you do, for we the players to make decisions about attending events you put on, what is the purpose of SSUSA then if you are not that competent professional advisor?
If I miss read any of this I'm sure I will hear about it, so be it. Maybe even pissed upon.
But it sure makes for thought provoking reading.
No wonder things change so much.
It's in every paper somewhere, you all REALLY need to READ it.
That was my take on it, and I obviously didn't like it. But it is what it is. So what is it?

You've got to be kidding! This is nothing more than legaleze that allows the paper to carry advertising without having to endorse or substantiate any of the claims made. It also allows the paper to carry opposing views without supporting any of them. To me, this is free speech. If we weren't such a litigous society it probably wouldn't be needed.
