TOC 50AAA
Noting the discussions regarding ratings, move ups. etc. I found the 50AAA competiton at the TOC very equal and most all of the teams belonged in AAA.
There was some question regarding one of the teams being rated major, but they too seemed to fit AAA competition as well.Very good 50AAA tourney.

I think what you saw is the rule rather than the exception. Sure, I suppose once in a while a team that doesn't belong there may slip in somehow. But I also believe the staff does there very best to keep that from happening. Nothing is perfect, however. I have also found that most of the biggest complainers either don't understand the rating system, are not going to be happy unless they have a decided advantage, or both.

You have to realize that most of the AAA teams participating in the TOC have won Major tournaments and already were classified as Major, but get to play AAA in the TOC, because that is the classification they were in to qualify.
What I'm trying to say is that most of the AAA TOC teams are Major. Sounds like thats where your team might belong if you played competitive in the TOC.

Smooth I tend to agree.
The team that won the 50AAA might belong Major (opinion) but classifed for the TOC by winning a AAA tourney and has not won or played a Major tourney.Actually seemed pretty average to me,but hit very well.
By the way I was just an observer-did not play.
