Birmingham Tourney this past weekend
Many thanks to everyone who participated this past weekend. I truly appreciate it. We had some great, competitive games and I saw many very solid players and teams. This is going to be a wonderful year for Senior Softball in the South for sure.

I have 3 gloves which were left at the tourney. One has already been claimed. I will have them at Montgomery. You can call me at 205-647-2881 if you are missing a glove.

A personal note: Thanks for your encouragement and prayers concerning my wife and granddaughter and their health needs. God bless you. Steve

Great job Steve, looking forward to next year, having the conession stand open was helpful, especialy with the wifes & grand childern that attended. The round robin we play in was very competitive. It was exciteing to win our last two games with a deficit of eight & twelve runs during the last ending. Its been a while since I expierence making up that big of a deficit with last bats at the plate.

Wes, this past Saturday was pretty much a one-time deal. They stay covered up with youth activities. I will be happy to intercede for you and/or Ridge to help get things started.

There does not seem to be much going on the first part of July as far as senior activities. July 10 might be a date that you could propose to SPA. I have mentioned it to them, but they have not responded. Thanks
