Lefty, I was told that these have a short warrenty period. Check with the seller to see if this is true.

Lefty/Bruce, I've got over 250 swings on mine and it's still going strong. In my opinion, it's as hot as an Ultra II. In fact, my Worth rep tells me the Toxic XXX is made at the same plant as the Ultra II which Worth also owns now.

I also haqve one that's cracked with less than 10 swings, 9 to be exact. It was hitting very well right out of the wrapper though; but at $19.50 per swing, that gets a little spendy!

I found that the worth bats have better pop and life with certain weights-i.e. 29 oz. was hot and the 30oz was not so hot! Has anyone noticed if a certain weight jumps out?

Thanks Bruce I'll send it in and give it a try on the replacement. It's a flip of a coin what Worth does. See you in Montgomery next weekend.

I took out a 27oz, XXX and after about
25 cuts it broke in half. Not much for a new bat out of the wrapper.

Barry 50 I've good news they sent me a new XXX. I heard at the tourneyment Sat. morning while we were eating breakfest. This guy was telling me the first batch of the senior XXX was breaking around 40 swings. I called worth up told them my problem she gave me a RA# and told me when I send the XXX in write a letter with it an explain my problem. Now it does depend when you baught the bat. I got mind in Dec. and told them I just took it out the wrapper.
Good Luck.

With hit bp today an tried XXX senior return and it just as good as any of the senior bats that I have. To me the ball jumped off the bat like the old ultra 2's. Might be just me. Really like it.

Lefty/Kenny, I have a 27 oz. also. It will be my gamer until it breaks. I've also got a regular Ultra II and an Ultra II Maxload but I like the feel of the Toxic better. I know it's the basically the same bat as the Ultra II but I'm just sayin'...

I heard the bats come off the
"assembly line" different one to the next.
Some are a little thicker, thinner,
denser, heavier/lighter etc.
This is not making microprocessors
and there's a lot of room for variance
in the end result so that,
for example, you might get
a Brand Name bat that is
the hottest bat you ever swung and lasts 800 swings and the next guy gets one that will explode in 20.
Luck of the draw, really.

Larry, I just got a Toxic XXX is there a break in time or are they ready to go right out of the rapper. 27 oz. is the one that I got. Should I use it in batting practice for the break in time or just go right to game time. Sorry we missed you in Dalton but SPA kept us AAA. Maybe some time soon. When I grow up I am going to hit them as far as you. Hope to see you soon. Harry

Harry, From my experience - I have a 27 and a 28 Toxic XXX - they are hot out of the wrapper. I never use my "game bats" in BP any more since I broke 3 Ultra IIs one season. I have a couple of bats I take BP with and some others I use when I hit off the 'T' but not the Toxics. I was looking for you guys in Dalton; sorry I didn't get to see you. Good luck when y'all do go and I hope it is not as hot and humid as when we were there!

Larry, Thanks for the information. I will take your advice and use it in games only. I thought for sure that we would have been in Dalton but things did not work out. We are planning on going to Phoenix maybe we will see you there. We are playing in Glen Burnie this weekend it was 98 degrees and you remember how the humidity was when you lived here. Not good but no chance of snow. Thanks Harry

Larry, I took about 15 swings in batting practice and then used it in the game. I got 7 swings with it and was very pleased with the way the ball came off the bat. I will only use it in games from now on. Good to have a bat that can be trusted. Thanks Harry

Harry,
How did you do in Glen Burnie? We go to Gallatin, TN next week-end. My knee is slowly coming around, how about your shoulder? Regards, Mel

Mel, We went 3 and 0 on Friday in the pool games and then as the number one seed 0 and 2. From number one to the out house. There is always Raleigh coming up. It was about 99 degrees and just miserable. the shoulder is ok not as much pain but I am going to go as long as I can before I have the rotar cuff surgery. Thanks Harry

Harry, Y'all did much better than we did in Dalton last weekend; we were 0 and 2 in the seeding games and 0 and 2 and BBQ in the DE portion. We got out of there a day early!

The bat is really hot out of the wrapper. I still prefer the Gold launch.

My 27 oz. is still going strong and was hot right out of the wrapper. Almost a year old. Had the original gold Launch 510 but broke that one at the handle. Lasted about 7 months. Have broken a black Ultra II and the silver special edition Ultra II - just cracked on me in Turlock. Had less than 100 swings on the silver one.
