Hi guys, if you're looking to find a team for this year, most of the AZ teams will be playing in a local tournament in Casa Grande on April 10-11. That's a good place to check out the talent and talk to some of the managers. I know some of the managers if you want me to introduce you, just stop by and we can talk. I play for a 55 team, Greco Hitmen. If you want more information or directions to the field, email me at brucemcclain@yahoo.com.

Thanks,
Bruce #5

Gary, you are much much older than I am, but you forget at your age. :) I'm more than ready to get back out there! I think I know why you tried to reach Mary and the owners have cut out the freebies, we don't get anymore either.

Joncon, Mobil? As much as ever. Yes, I see them too, unfortunately. ;)

Are you guys playing?

Way to go guys. I love to see this. I manage a Major team here locally and have some very good players that would fit into your team well. Three in particular, two are excellent infielders and one outfielder. They are good teammates also. Contact me on my personal E-Mail (Towtime@cox.net)and I would be happy to give you their contact info.

Personally, I live in Southeast Chandler and Victory Lane would be to far for a league night. I understand there may be a new Senior League in Chandler forming possibly this fall. Weekend tournaments are a different story. I have no problem traveling.

Victory Lane is in North Phoenix, but I don't think they have a Senior League there, you'd probably be playing with the kids. There use to be a Fall Senior league in Glendale but I think they moved it to Surprise this past Fall. Not a lot of Senior ball going on in the Summer in AZ except a few tournaments up North in the high country. Tournaments in Prescott in May and Aug and Pinetop tourneys in June and July. Good luck getting a new team together, we can always use more senior players in AZ. If there's anything I can do to help, just let me know.

Guys,

I'll be hitting down at Friendship Park in Avondale this Sunday morning April 25. The starting time is 8:00 AM give or take. Friendship Park is on the south side of McDowell, about half-way between 115th (Avondale) Ave and Dysart Rd. From I-10 take either the Dysart Road exit or the Avondale Blvd exit, and go north to McDowell, then drive east or west (depending on which exit you took) about 1.5 miles to the park. The softball field is on the northeast side of the park, and can be seen from McDowell Rd.

c/ya,
Mike

""JONCON, your already on the team GLORY DAZE.""

I was waiting for you to chime in Ricky Lee.

It's common knowledge that Glory daze has been is disarry for about a year now. Several players have moved to teams that can consistantly field a team. Several others are on the bubble.

Glory Daze has always been a great group of guys but some of us want to play more than a few times a year.
