Good Tournament in Turlock
We got 4 out of 5 games in before
the rain losing to the Longhorns
badly in the game for the shirts
as we were both sitting
3 and O.
Congrats to Johnny and Kurt,
Bobby and all the boys on Longhorns
for a terrific game against us.
We played tough games with MTC 50's and the East Bay Oldies again showing
how satisfyingly competitive NorCal is.
We used last year's Baden balls which went well enough in the cooler weather.
NCSSA has endorsed this year's Baden Fire ball for use which we hit in Fremont and worked very well.
Thanks to Don Weaver for putting on a another satisfying event for us.
Most of my guys love to play in Turlock.

Joe it was nice seeing you Barrons again in Turlock. The weather was cold an rainy we got the games in we wanted to play. The teams in Nor cal are better than they have been in the last couple of years. Last year East bay was the only team we really got up for. They have a great team when all there players are there you an i no this. This year we come to a Nor Cal Tourn. you better be ready to play every game or your going to get beat by a team who is ready to play. Joe the Barrons are not only a very good team they are a great bunch of guys it makes the game much more enjoyable win or lose. The Longhorns hope to see you an the Barrons all year your team has already made us better as will your team as the summer arrives. Timmy from MTC has put together a good Major team an the Sluggers look better to me this year to its going to be fun. Take Care Kurt from the Longhorns.

einstein, you always find that ray of sunshine in the dark cloud that's covering the ballfield.....

As long as you got a decent ball to hit, a few of your compadres playing with you or against you, and a nice close game that can be decided by that key hit or defensive gem.....
