| April 24, 2010 softball4b Men's 60 581 posts | Cathedral City Tournament Nate is a good guy, but this tournament has been a disaster. Our 1st game at 11:30 was 45 minutes late. Our second game at 3 was an 1:15 late. Our game at 8:50 PM was 2 hours behind and may or may not be played at 8AM in the morning. Every field was late. Great weather....too many teams |
| April 26, 2010 salio2k Men's 60 548 posts | Our first game was at 8:00.........second game at about 6:30. NINE HOURS between games!!! |
| April 26, 2010 E4/E6 Men's 60 847 posts | Same story with almost everyone. Problem was BLD's, too many different leagues and tournaments. There were little leagues, young guys, and us older fellows to schedule. Poor Nate was at the mercy of BLD's and caught all the wrath. The play was still excellent and the fields were all we could hope for. |
| April 26, 2010 fx 5 posts | ooouch! great fields, weather, and teams, but we had only one game start on time; that was the first game on saturday. we started at 1020 a.m. and finished our third game at 10pm. we were delayed 3 hrs on our first sunday game, and played the championship game 2 1/2 later than projected. the championship game was limited to 4 1/2 innings. winning seemed like a consolation. |

| April 27, 2010 Tate22 Men's 55 255 posts | Phillip: Thank you, our pool was a very competitive tournament that any of the teams could have won. You have a tough team that will only get better during the season. NCI is also a tough team in our division that always provides a battle. Between Manny, Robert of NCI, our Bill Gombos, (don't know the DP 50's pitcher) there were some very tough pitchers on display. Hope to see you back on the field soon, as well. Think about playing in Poway May 22nd, another Top Gun event. Good tune-up two weeks before Reno. Cheers; Don Newhard |
