What's a Good Outfielder's Glove?
Looking to pickup a glove for outfield use. Does anyone have any suggestions? I would like it to be soft (easy to break-in) and light (in its weight). Thanks for your input.

I would say to get a 14-incher. It really helps with dives or stretches. I like the Rawlings "Gold Glove Co." models.

Check out the gloves on this site: http://www.rawlingsgear.com/. You can find the Gold Glove models there.

If your looking for a fast break in & a glove that turns out soft try Nokona, Kangaroo hide:

For better quality but longer break in and custom made glove to your Specs. try:

I have a 15" VINCI PRO for $140 shipped. It's as big as they get and still legal.
About half broken in but never used in a game, A monster size glove.

Isn't 15 inch illegal except for a first basemans glove?

The Nokona is nice but gets real floppy when it is well broke in. Went back to a Rawlings, 13.5" Trap-eze, what a great glove. I have much more confidence now. Get the Gold Glove model, breaks in fast and save a little $ too.

Actually the Heart of the Hide model breaks in faster, a little nicer leather.

I bought an Akadema for about $70 and planned to break it in slowly. When my Rawlings broke I was forced to use it and have been real happy. It's a little heavy, but you get used to it and it was a lot cheaper.
