REF34 - All 50's and 55's start on SATURDAY and not (as I erroneously posted) on Friday ... Twelve days on the road in Reno, driving back this afternoon and writing the schedule too quickly when I wasn't as sharp as I should be maybe wasn't such a good idea! ... I've moved the 50's/55's file on the server so it's invisible until I fix it on Tuesday morning ... However, the grid IS correct ... Sorry! ... DAVE

SCHEDULE REVISION - The late withdrawal this morning (after the original schedules were posted) of the Seniors Team Houston (TX) has resulted in the following changes:

• MEN'S 50/55+ GOLD • Reduced from five to four teams ... Teams will play all three seeding games of a full round robin on Saturday afternoon beginning at 2:00 PM and will play the first two bracket games on Saturday night ... Sunday schedule will now be entirely on Field #4 beginning at 9:30 AM

• MEN'S 50/55+ AA • Bracket Game #4 moved from Sunday morning on Field #6 at 9:30 AM to Field #7 at 8:00 AM

• MEN'S 55+ AAA • Bracket Game #7 moved from Field #6 to Field #4 at 8:00 AM on Sunday morning

• WOMEN'S 40+ MASTERS • All Sunday games moved from Field #5 to Field #7

These revisions have been posted to the online schedule sets and the master grid has been updated accordingly ... We apologize for any inconvenience caused by these circumstances which were completely out of our control.

The Women's 40-Masters Division has been cancelled due to the withdrawal of one team, after which the other two teams declined to participate. No other Men's divisions of play were affected by this cancellation.

Games are underway in Dallas and it's breezy and cloudy at about 85°right now (Noon CDT). There's a slight possibility of a thunderstorm around 3:00 this afternoon. After that, the forecast is for hot (mid to high 90's) and rain-free through Sunday.

was a little warm and humid tho.what i would like to know tho,is why teams were allowed to use non-ssusa balls.we had teams using ISA balls and others.
also why did we have to play the winners bracket final at 8 am and than not play till after 2 pm for the champ game, way to much sitting around for old bodies.

would like to congrats all the teams there.

mad dog,
I agree with you about sitting around. We won our first tournamnet game at 6:00 Friday night, and had to come back Saturday at 8:00 AM, losers played at 9:30 ?
After we won at the 8:00 AM game, we had to wait until 3:30 to play the Championship Game....I guess that was OK, as we got to drink beer with you and ED !(or at least Ed !)
Didn't have a problem with the balls though. Good tournament to you guys !

kenny had no prol with the balls,it was just that some teams were told they didn't have to use ss-usa balls as long as the ball was a trump stote 44-375.some had the MCT ball and it was made for ISA.
