Happened twice now
I have seen 2 different discussions about this new Veteran Bat. And they both have been removed. Why does this keep happening? I thought this board was to discuss our sport. And the new things being created for the sport.

It is the rules of the board. You are not suppose to promote sales on the message board. When a 2 post poster comes on the board and post's reviews, price, website and contact info it violates the rules of the board.

If you look at the banners you will see that they have a seniorsoftballstore.com
Tanel
Easton
Miken and many more companies that pay to advertise here, contribute goods to the program all so that YOU the players benefit. Why would they allow someone that contributes nothing to they program to make this his personal sales board?
If you ever looked under where you respond to post's the rules are clearly printed, here they are.

- Inappropriate language
- Disparaging comments directed toward any individual
- Promotion for other senior softball organizations
- Advertising for commercial products, services or websites

There's a pretty rich history
to the message board
helping it and us positively
develop our community
to where we are today.
SSUSA reserves the right to remove
any thread in the best interests of senior softball as judged by them
and we fundamentally support them
taking the initiative to do so.

This wasn't advertising it was opinions on a bat. No different than when there are discussions regarding the different Combats or Ultra's or all the other bats that have been discussed on here. No one tried to sell the bat, just relayed their experience with it. What happened to free speech?

AZTOMC -- You have stated on
other message boards that you
are a representative for
the Veteran bat.

How could you give an unbiased
review of the bat? Appears
to me as a sales pitch.

Website policy has been to remove
an entire thread to create peer pressure
when anything or anyone becomes
objectionable.
I learned it had nothing to do with anything that was said about the bat.
The bat stuff just went along for the ride.
By the way, I've heard some good things
about that bat.
I remember hitting an earlier model
and it was very hot but didn't last.
If they made it more durable
that should be a very good bat.

I have read positive as well as negative reviews on the bat.
The bat reflects the legal 1.21 BPF stamp which would on the face of it be legal in SSUSA, T's.
However as things seem to be perhaps there is another issue no one has brought up...the assn stamps. Did The company need to pay to have it actually be "allowed".
A buck or what ever per bat made or sold is a gravy train for assns that require it. Free money.
That in the long run players who purchase them would end up paying for.
At a cost of 159.00 I believe, it seems to be a very good buy, but a 30 day warranty period is just lip service.

I need to amend my post here.
I was informed SSUSA does not receive a fee for bat use with the assn label.
Manufacturers may etch the assn label into their bats, but no stickers.
Sorry for inaccurate info posted.

I'm not a rep for the Veteran bat. I forward any bat requests or questions sent to me to the bat developer. I have batting practice with Bill and hit the bat. I gave my opinion on it. My review is unbiased and just my view on a good bat. Not a sales pitch. If you want to buy the bat you will have to go thru the proper channels, not me.
And, #6 OOPS there it is????? Great comeback big guy!

If anyone is interested in buying a Veteran let me know. I am helping rep them.

Senior Moments don't you have anything else to do but ride my ass. I said I don't rep the Veterans and I DON'T! I'd put on here how to get them but it would get deleted anyway.
Now, get a hobby or something and pick on someone else.
