need a good turnout for this tournament for all age groups. use this tourney as a warmup for dalton, las vegas and the biggie in phoenix. i hope we get a good representation from AUSTIN, SAN ANTONIO, HOUSTON, AND CORPUS CHRISTI, LOUISIANA, ARKSANSAS AND OKLA. the weather should be slightly "warm" . great fields, SO, COME JOIN THE FUN ! LET'S MAKE RIDGE AND LAYLA HAPPY !!!! WHO'S COMING ?? INFO AND FORMS ON THE SPA WEBSITE. LESS THAN 10 DAYS AWAY ! PS: AS AN ADDED ATRACTION: MAD DOG WILL BE IN ATTENDANCE.

DIRTY- i dont really know why/how SPA PICKS THE NAMES FOR THE TOURNAMENTS. the idea is to get more teams to show up. this is a ring tournament for anybody that is interested in buying one. i have played with teams that have won tournaments ( 6-7) over the years. i personally dont buy the rings,my wife would kill me ( too expensive). i play for the fun and competition. win or lose is not a life-changing event, as long as we give it our all . i have read enough of your post over the years to know how you feel about certain things in senior softball ,maybe it's not perfect, but that's all we have. " live long and prosper brother !" FRANK ARMIJO- DALLAS SPURS 60'S.

Frank, I know you don't pick the names and certainly wasn't aiming my little dig at you. I am sure they do it for marketing reasons, to sucker so old guys into thinking they actually won an elite event.

As far as having to buy your own prize, that is very strange.

But yes, it is all we have.
