PHEONIX - UNKIND TO SPA CHAMPIONS
We Just completed our Tournament run in Pheonix, AZ 55 AAA Division. We went half loaded into a good tournament as got the welcome response the a Recent Champion gets in the very next tournament that they play in!! (1-4) We got everybodies better games.

They were several good Teams out here in Pheonix - We lost our last two games by one run each!!

The Reebok bat got off to a rocky start from the Tournament Organizing bodies - 1st they were call Illegal - then after several calls to Curt Hollis and Reebok - They were deemed Legal - Go Figure??

I noticed a few of the Promo reps trying out the bats in several games - The ball was really flying thru the infields and the line drives were lazer-like.

The Official Ship date for players recieving thier bats will be December 1st.

You can order from several Promo Reps like myself - They will gladly give you thier Promo Codes. @ Softballrevolution.com

Happy Off-Season to all

Played in a tourney at the Villages in Orlando this weekend, there were some reeboks being used there. Congrats to Morgan Keegan for winning it all, they are a great bunch guys. It's always a pleasure losing to them:)

I can certainly understand hyping this bat from a durability perspective if it is indeed more durable, but to hit "laser-like line drives" largely because of the bat makes you feel better about yourselves how?

Big D and LT-I did see it posted on Saturday night at Mountain Vista that it was legal.
I took BP with the KC Barons on Thurs and it has good pop. Thanks Brian Warner for the invite and the hospitality of the Barons. I will be giving it a good workout when my hip heals.
Big D-did you play for Georgia Masters? We played you the first game-I am the first baseman with the blue knee brace. Nice talking to you during the discussion over our illegal subs!!! Our coach is going to get a spam award for that, maybe.

Webbie you are welcome. I'm just glad some guys who hadn't seen the Reebok. Got to swing it. And as far as the comment about making one feel good about hitting lasers. The bat being durable is the issue here. I don't think anyone could improve the performance of the U2 or the combats. But making a bat that is that good that last longer then 50 swings is what makes people take notice.

Ok, guys I hit with the Reabok down at the SPA National,it was OK.BUT IT WON'T MAKE a homerun hitter out of a singles guy.I can hit LONG homeruns with a U-II or a yellow combat,So i can hit homeruns with this new bat. Lets wait till we see if it has the durability.OH bye the way my 3 U-II are all 5 years old and going strong and my combat was one of the 1st put out.So my durability is good, and i hit the ball as hard as ANYONE.

I did not see it posted at Desert West. Terry Hennessy told me at Victory Lane on Friday morning that it was not allowed. Our guys had taken BP with it and it could have made a difference.

Marv is it true that your tournaments may be coming to San Clemente? I have some inside information. Thanks!

Maybe?? I have an application into Chris for some spring & summer dates. I'm suppose to know in November. So we shall see. He has some strange requirements there you know. Like admission and no coolers. Did you know that? How is the parking? He says he has only 100 parking spots then you have to park on the street.

There is construction going on near the fields so parking may be down to 100 spots. During league games with all fields in use the lower parking lot is not used and there are stll spots in the upper lots. RV's may have to use the lower spot or the street. We don't have a problem with coolers since the concession is not open during the week. There is no bag check, gate fees must be a tourney thing.

Wagon, thanks for the props ... always good to see you and Big John. I hope everything works out for you guys in the coming months.

A couple of our guys were swinging a 27 oz balanced Reebok this weekend at the Villages and liked it a lot. Dave Reed and Bobby Davis had the end load model which is what I prefer.

I agree with Brian ... durability is a big key. I have cracked 3 Ultras this year and it's getting expensive.

Conman, Congrats on the win. Like Pat said, you guys are good guys and it's great to see good teams who win with class like you guys. See you next season.
