REEBOK PARTY @ FT.MEYERS & NAPLES
I Just got back from playing in the 2011 Winter Nationals in Ft.Myers, FL.

Played 6 games with My Metro Stars 50 Major Team out of Northern VA. With a 3-3 Record good for 4th or 5th Place.

The good news was that it seemed like a REEBOK SENIOR BAT Party weekend. Several players on different teams were swinging the New Reebok Sr.Bat in game competition. I watched the 60's, 50's and 65's Blast HR's over 325 foot fences and hit(Lazer Like) Line drives thru the infields. The REEBOK held it's own with the Ultra 2's and the Combats - in head to Head Action.

One of my teammates (Bear Chandler) and myself we hit balls that still might be flying!!!!!.

For those Seniors that have played thier last tournament for 2010 - Consider trying out the REEBOK MEELEE for 2011. You can contact ANY Promo Rep in your area for more info!!

If you don't have a rep - You can contact me: treadeast@yahoo.com
Promo Code DTTN10FS

I don't want to stir-up any confusions - I am known by what I do!

I hit for Power and I do it well!

Just Like any ole time Gunslinger - I will accept any head to head Bat challenges.

Big D,

We played you the first game on Saturday and got to witness one of your bombs. Very impressive!

I also swung a Reebok bat - 27 oz Balanced. It's taken me a little bit to adjust from a Combat end load to the balanced Reebok, but it's coming around. I probably have over 500 swings on the bat now and it's just beginning to show some spider webbing.

If you're looking for a good, durable bat for next year, you have to go Reebok.

I hear ya Wagon. I went from the Ultra to a Combat and always thought the Combat was the better bat. But, you can't have a Combat and use it for both BP and games. So, I've made the move.

The only reason I got the balanced was because I thought my Combat was balanced. Otherwise, I would be swinging one of those nice yellow Reeboks.

Got to swing two of the Melees in Ft Myers. They seemed to have pretty decent pop but I would shy away from any extra distance claims when comparing them to the Ultra IIs. I liked the 27 oz End load (yellow) version but I have to tell you the 26 oz balanced one had a perceptable vibration in the grip, even when centering one up in the sweet spot. This was noticed by a few of my team mates as well. If they really last longer than an Ultra, I will probably pick one up.

MD and Ed, how about at CST we compare the Melee to other senior bats by hitting them off a tee.
First swing will be with the Melee, second with senior bat "A", next swing with sr bat "B", then sr bat "C" etc. Do the same for 10 rounds. Have someone mark the landing spot of all balls, disreguarding mis-hits (line drives and pop up). We then take an average for each bat and see which one is longer. I can furnish a MM 30el.
What do you think?

Bruce , your challenge - It sure sounds like the make-up of a old western movie " Gun Fight at the O.K. Corral"

Let the best Senior Bat - Proponents Step forward. Great Job

Bruce, I will be at the CST, TOC and - Also I am going to the Woodland Hitting Club - Jan 20-23 2011 - My wife's Birthday Trip.

I cannot hit off a Tee - I might hit myself - I would perfer - Live Pitching - for any homerum contest / exhibitions.
