And does it reduce the Bats Power? Thanks Hoover |
| Nov. 30, 2010 taits Men's 65 4001 posts | There is I believe a mention of this problem about 2 years back from some players and Gorilla glue was one that was recommended. There was a marine glue but do not remember the name, Do a search on here. You might try asking at a shoe repair place. Their glue is stronger than the store stuff. It you haven't had it long you might try calling where you got it... |
| Nov. 30, 2010 mad dog Men's 60 3803 posts | i called anaconda a couple years back with the same prol, they said i could send it in and be without it for 4-6 weeks at least,or use 3M MARINE GLUE 5200.they said wait till the cap has come up from hitting and use a butter knife and push it the rest of the way.clean both the barrel and the cap and make sure nothing is left.put a thin coating of the glue on both the barrel and cap,pop cap back in and let it set for 7 days. it was a service rep who told me what to do,it worked for mine. |

| Nov. 30, 2010 mad dog Men's 60 3803 posts | i guess you could say so,but a 1 week wait vs 4-6 weeks minimum,well..... |
| Nov. 30, 2010 hoovedog Men's 50 53 posts | I tried driving that cap out in a vise, with a chisel, and it would not come out, its going to be a practice bat anyway,, so I'll just clean whats exposed and use the 3M Marine Glue, a Shrimper I work with says its good stuff! Thanks |
