| Dec. 9, 2010 surf88 Men's 60 731 posts | Cold Weather Hitting Helpful Information If you live and play ball in cold weather areas, consider keeping your composite bats as warm as possible. Keep them in the house instead of in the trunk or garage before hitting. Also twist the handle after each hit so you don't hit the ball in the same exact spot on the bat each time.
