| Dec. 14, 2010 The real deal Men's 60 46 posts | A New Normal? A lot of us have noticed and appreciated the kinder, more civil tone to this discussion board the last few days (and a couple of missing posters?). Thanks to SSUSA staff for allowing this website to return to what it was intended to be. Let's play ball! |
| Dec. 14, 2010 taits Men's 65 4038 posts | Yes it is nice, even thought here is still a haze in the air. |
| Dec. 14, 2010 ShaneV Men's 55 354 posts | Certainly does illustrate the behavior of the majority in comparison to a few. Before we had the technology to do what we do here on this message board, we had to show up somewhere for a cause. And when we did, if there happend to be a couple individuals who chose violence or to incite violence, people got hurt. Here at least nobody gets physically hurt however even verbal violence is still wrong. ShaneV |
| Dec. 14, 2010 Marv19 Men's 60 355 posts | Be careful what you wish for! :O) X those are my fingers. |
| Dec. 14, 2010 birdie Men's 60 658 posts | Marv, I agree with you be careful what you wish for. It is a lot more peaceful on the board and I believe that my blood pressure has come down. I am sure that something will cause it to go up but I will enjoy the moment. Thanks Harry |
| Dec. 15, 2010 Webbie25 Men's 60 1808 posts | There is a whole new feeling-I love the ribbing some guys are giving others. I also have noticed a lot of names I haven't seen before. It is a rare game we play on the field that we don't enjoy the other teams-thats one reason we travel-- to play new teams. The board should have the same comaraderie and respect for differing opinions. Merry Christmas , everyone!! |
| Dec. 15, 2010 Marv19 Men's 60 355 posts | I agree. Lately I felt when I logged on I was in the middle of one of those bad calls by an umpire. You know when everybody is screaming. It is nice to see others post for a change. I would suspect that it could be a little intimidating for some to think they may get jumped on by some people |

| Dec. 17, 2010 MaverickAH 59 posts | Yes, it's definitely an early Christmas present! Hopefully it will continue into the new year. I have no problems with differing opinions. It's what makes this or any board worthwhile! We should be able to discuss varying opinions w/civility. |
| Dec. 17, 2010 The real deal Men's 60 46 posts | By the looks of another thread, it seems like the haze is starting to get thicker... |
| Dec. 17, 2010 birdie Men's 60 658 posts | The real deal, That was a early post before some things seemed to happen. Thanks Harry |
| Dec. 17, 2010 birdie Men's 60 658 posts | The real deal, Are you referring to the pitcher rubber post? If you are I am a little slow sometimes well most of the times. Thanks Harry |
