Hey Steve,
How's it going?
Hope it's warm enough to hit the REEBOK MELEE.
I start therapy this afternoon but won't be ready to play in the tourney but will have REEBOKS there for sale.

Hey Jim, we will play if it is at least 50 degrees. Do not know if that is warm enough for the bats. I do want to see one for myself, thanks and get well soon.

If anyone needs a player for this tournament, I would like to play and am currently playing 60 AAA. I'm an outfielder, but can play infield and pitch in a pinch. I have good speed and pop. I still play with the kids locally.

Steve you know I have to spread myself
around. One is a 60major team and the other is 55AAA team. The softball gods are looking over me I hope I can pull it off. I hope to see you at the tourney.

Wes,
I have posted a separate thread on the difference in the REEBOKS. If you have any questions after reading the thread let me know.
I will not be in Jacksonville in February due to recovering from back surgery.
I do have some stock left on the balanced models and will be getting more balanced and endloaded when the next shipment arrives.
Thanks,

The Hitman

Joe, are both teams going to run you to the outfield? That's one of the good things I enjoy about playing 50s - I get out of the outfield and play 1B and let the "young" stallions run in the pasture!

Larry Steve is right most of the time. If I play with the 55's I try to play outfield a little each game. But normally I play 4 or 5 innings. With the 60 Wild Bunch last year I played pretty much in the out field. Some times it's hard to get enough outfielders. I hope I get lucky this year and theirs plenty of outfielders on each team. I hope to see you Larry at the TOC.

Well Lenny you know I'm a AA player and a very lucky guy that Tom and Bubba let me play at a higher level of softball. See ya'll around the park and
pass a good time.

Due to our senior tourney being held in conjunction with another tourney(youngsters) at Green Springs, I will have to limit total teams to 12. I have 4 spots left. Please let me know if you are interested. Thanks

Mad Dog, we are too old to be worrying about so much stuff in and around senior softball, right?! Egos just do not seem to diminish with some no matter what the age range. I love the competitiveness; it helps us stay young, focused, active. But isn't it somewhat disturbing that softball seems to be the center of life for some. For me, it is just the opposite--an escape. My wife has cancer problems, just found out a few months back that she has rheumatoid arthritis and other health needs. My daughter has divorced. Her daughter (my granddaughter) needs a kidney transplant. My ex son-in-law will be donating his kidney and I may have to nurse-maid him for a month!
I love to play softball; don't care what the score is; don't care that I am old, fat, and slow!

Thanks Mad Dog; hope I did not come across as a little too melodramatic. Just really trying to say that there is a perspective that we all need to keep. That does not always appear to be the case with some of the input. That's why I had rather do something a bit silly.
As far as your well-wishes, they are greatly appreciated. It is all in the Lord's hands; He is in control.
