Maybe the ranking committee are as confused about the Chicago teams as I am. I just hope they don't run out of colors.

My name of Bob Schulz. I have played with the Chicago Classics Red 50's for the past four years. My reply relates to our team. We are a Major team and have been for the past two years. We started this year in Ft. Myers with a roster of 15 players and that roster has not changed all year. We have not changed our name except to add a sponsors name which added confusion early in the year to myself also. We have not played in AAA for the past two years and would not wish to since we believe we are a Major team. Are you sure you are looking at the 50's and maybe confusing us with our 55's team which are also called Chicago Classics Red?

Bob50, I have played against you guys this year. You have a very good team. Consistent hitters top to bottom. I believe you will be playing Major + next year and will be competitive there as well. Good Luck in Phoenix, but I hope we beat you.

Robo2, Good luck to you and all the other teams. It looks like we will have a nice tournout for the 50 Major division. What team do you play with? Look me up. I play first base--#50.

This year I play with Sweet Construction - #2. In prior years I played with Promotion. My position moves around (pitcher; third; right; etc.) anywhere they can try to hide me. Hope the tournament comes off as well as expected.

I'm cofused, I don't see a C.C. Red in the 55's. Only Blue(Major) and Gray(aa). I know Blue is in Phoenix and they are playing Major.

So Cal'er, You're right there is still confusion. We have six teams in our club split between 3 age divisions with a total of about 100+/- players. I do not have every answer for each team. Last year our Chicago Classics Red 55's team played AAA. Some of the players from that team now play on the Chicago Classics Blue 55's and they are playing Major (I believe). I hope this helps. I can answer any specific questions that relate to my team--Chicago Classics Red 50's. Hope this helps. What is the name of your team so I know who is asking.

I play on the Chicago Classics 60s White. One of the 6 teams. We won the 60AA in Vegas last year. We lost several guys but the remaining 15 from last year's team have moved up to AAA this year. We added 3 guys from the other 60AAA team at the start of the season so each team has about 18 men and it helped balance out playing time for all. For those of you who think the Classics try and load up a team, the players on each 60 team pretty much chose which they would like to play on and each team has guys who have been playing 16" and 12" together for decades.
