New Blue Combat
Bruce is Mike bringing any new Blue Combats to the TOC. Looking to get a 28oz. endload13" barrel. I know your team is playing at a different ball park. All the senior bats I have should break this year. I want be bringing the U2's and my gray combat to the TOC. To close to breaking. Using the yellow combat when over 60 degrees.

Ron,
My pleasure. I sold one to a friend of yours back home at the T.O.C. He was bragging on you. I am glad you got the bat. I now only hope you can enjoy hitting it in some nice weather. The T.O.C. was nice but I would not write home about it. Ha! Ha! Once again thanks.

Mike,
You shouldn't have told him that I said some good things about him. I just told him on today that his bats would be out this week and he told me he got them today. Now that's service. Underwood will be calling you because I won't let him swing mine :) Thanks again. Easy E. DoublePlay 55's.

I JUST RECEIVED MY COMBAT BLUE YESTERDAY, AND WE USED IN PRACTICE TODAY . IT IS A HOT BAT RIGHT OUT OF THE BOXS, EVERYBODY THAT HIT WITH IT LOVEDIT. THE LADIES IN PRACTICE WERE HITING PASS THE INFIELD . WERE USUALY THERE IN THE INFIELD I WISH IT WAS ASA APROVED. I BOUGHT THE 28 OZ BALLANCE THANKS MIKE FOR A GREAT BAT. THE COLOR IS GREAT . I LIKE THE INDENT DESIGN NEXT TO THE HANDLE. AND THE BAT CAME IN A WEEK LIKE MIKE SAID. I ALREADY HAVE PEOPLE WANTING TO NO WHERE I CAN GET THIS BAT. I HAVE A ESTON SOLVO AND I LOVE THIS BATALSO. I TOOK ABOUT 6 MO TO HEAT UP BUT ITS A GREAT BAT . AND ASA APROVED. BUT NOT AS DEEP A POP AS NEW BLUE.

Thanks for the bat Mike. I needed to buy the new mm combat just in case the reebok that will pick up Sat. in Birmingham breaks. Don't plan on hitting the reebok unless we get in the 70's. Took the new blue combat out and this sucker hits better than any bat that I have and it's even webbing earlier than the other combats that I have. It hits great the hole length of the barrel after 15 swings. Maybe I got lucky. I've got the 28 oz endload. I believe I'm gonna like the Senior Reebok just as much. For everyone I seen hit in the TOC it hit great.

Lefty I may be full of shxT, but I think webbing leads to the premature demise of bats. There is a way to prevent bats from webbing.None of my bats have webbing.2008 model bats with 1000 swings no webbing no cracks.

Webbing is a sign, that your bat is breaking-in . Its normal for a good senior.

HEY SLOBALL1 - 1000 swings no webbing, what type of bat are you using? and what kind of swing to you have.

In 10 years of Senior softball, I have cracked Combats, Mikens and now Reeboks, So I'm always looking for a durable bat with pop.

canjack.Webbing is what is commonly viewed as a a sign that your bat is breaking in, but no bat has to have webbing,no matter what kind of bat,no matter what kind of bat.

Only bats that are finished with a specific type of clear coat will show webbing. That is because the clear coat doesn't flex. This is per Trumpball.
If the bat doesn't show any webbing after use then either it doesn't have a clear coat or a different type was used.

You got it Bruce. No clear coat. No webbing.I haven't bought a new bat in a while but, the first thing I do is remove the clear coat.
