I used to play for Town Square in Indy. Anyone familiar with the team or Stan?

Yep....currently play with Stan's son Joe. Worked with Gary Gregory and most of the other guys at Allisons...Always remember stan with the cigar and the towel around his neck. Ya'll was the tops in co-ed back in the day.

Definitely the hottest coed team back in the day! Played for Sheet Metal Tech out of Cleveland and remember hanging out with your team as well as Action Awards, good times.

Those were good times!! Our team was known for the girls. Funny because everywhere we went we had a crowd. Anyone know how to get in contact with Steve Imlay?

Hey Indy Girl. I think a couple of the Town Square girls played a game or two with a women's team from Elizabethtown, KY called R&W Marine. Are you one of those?

I don't remember playing with a team from KY, however that was so long ago and my memory is shot! I did play lots of co-ed and women's ball. Being on this site makes me miss it!

You probably would have remembered R&W Marine. The owner/sponsor was quite a character. 3-4 of the players and the assistant coach were from Indy, the rest from KY. I'm shooting in the dark here but the local senior leagues allowed women over 40 last year. I'm hoping they drop the age for men down to 45 as well.

I just resent it. So funny to think 226 people have viewed the saga to whether or not we can catch up on the past!!! Realmccoy

I remember the team fondly. I still see Mike Jeffers out in Brownsburg. I know that I have tried in the past to get the first senior women's team from Indiana started, but the girls are just not as interested as the boys.
