Looking to play in the North Alabama area
Anyone know of any leagues/teams in the North Alabama area?
I will be 50 this year.

There are no special leagues in Huntsville for 50 and over only 55+, 63+ and 70+. They are all run by the Huntsville Senior Center. I have tried for 8 years to get it changed but the answer is always no. I think they may have a league in Gadsden oir Boaz but not sure about age brackets, I'll see what I can find out.
If you want to play regular just check with the Huntville Metro SportsPlex they usually have around 75 teams playing there.
Just ask if you have any other questions,

Sorry I should have said up front that I am a female. I know about the Senior Center Male teams.
I have been playing in the Research Park Co-Ed (8-2) League, but at almost 50 I am getting to slow to be playing with mostly men in their 20's and 30's.
SportsPlex is ok but they have no kind of classifications and they last time I played in a womens league there we played against teams that were made up of UAH and Calhoun players. Needless to say they would run rule us routinely . :)
I guess at this point in my life I am just trying to look for something a little more my speed.
Thanks for responding and if you happen to come across something else please let me know.
